How Do I Sign Up For Telephone Banking?

An application form is not required to use Telephone Banking. Simply dial: 276-873-7000 and select option 1 to access the system. Press 1 on your telephone to access your accounts, and then enter your account number. Please contact the bank to get your Personal Identification Number (PIN). The first time you use Telephone Banking, you will be prompted to change your PIN to a new four-digit number that only you know to safeguard your accounts. After the system tells you that your PIN number has expired, enter a new 4 to 6 digit PIN number to use for future calls. That's all you need to do for your first time accessing the Telephone Banking system.

How to Access Telephone Banking

  1. Dial: 276-873-7000 and select option 1
  2. New Peoples Online Telephone Banking will answer your call.
  3. Select option number (1) to for Account Information.
  4. Enter the account number you wish to inquire about.
  5. Enter your secret PIN number.
  6. Please contact the bank to get your Personal Identification Number (PIN). The first time you use Telephone Banking, you will be prompted to change your PIN to a new four-digit number that only you know to safeguard your account(s). Once you enter your PIN number for the first time you'll be asked to change it to a new one. Your new PIN number must be a minimum of four characters in length.
  7. Select the appropriate option for the information you want.
